He has been replaced by club legend Daniele De Rossi, who has taken charge of the team until the end of the season. As the former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United boss bid adieu to the Giallorossi, several players paid tribute to their former manager on social media.

As per report, Mourinho was asked to leave without prior notice. The decision was reportedly made during an impromptu 25-minute meeting and was then communicated to the now-former manager. Mourinho was visibly emotional as he bid farewell to the fans while leaving the club premises.
