Rabiot officially concluded his tenure at Juventus when his contract expired at the end of June, marking the end of a five-year journey with the Italian giants. The 29-year-old's departure followed his decision to turn down a lucrative two-year contract extension worth €7.5 million (£6.3m/$8.1m) annually, plus bonuses.

Before diving into the future, Rabiot took a moment to reflect on his past. He expressed his gratitude and bid an emotional farewell to the Juventus community through a heartfelt Instagram post.
"After five seasons at Juventus, five years in Turin, I want to say goodbye and thank you," he wrote. "All of you who have been there for me. The club and all its staff. And you fans, always close and very affectionate! Thanks for everything @juventus. Goodbye and good luck."

Rabiot has long harboured ambitions to play in the Premier League, and it appears that United are leading the charge to secure his signature. According to United have engaged in talks with Rabiot and his mother, who also serves as his agent. Although other top clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Galatasaray have expressed interest, the Red Devils are reportedly in a favourable position to get him on board as they are prepared to offer him a salary in the range of €8-9 million (£6.75m-£7.59m/$8.67m-$9.76m) per year, along with a signing bonus.
