Liverpool fans have been discussing a potential move for Watford playmaker Roberto Pereyra, who has been in exceptional form so far this season.
The Argentina international has scored five goals in 17 Premier League games for the Hornets so far in the current campaign as Javi Gracia has his side sat in tenth place in the league, just two points off a Europa League spot – Pereyra notably destroyed Kieran Trippier in Spurs’ 2-1 loss at Vicarage Road earlier in the season.
As we’ve already witnessed in Xherdan Shaqiri’s huge impact at Anfield since signing from relegated Stoke, there is certainly value and reason to sign players who are performing well for lesser sides; not necessarily to go straight into the team, but for squad depth most definitely.
