If Neymar were to head for the United States, then he would get the chance to reform Barcelona’s fabled ‘MSN’ strike force alongside fellow South Americans Messi and Suarez. He has, however, been enduring a tough time on the injury front at Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal.
WHAT ESPN PUNDIT SAID
With that in mind, ESPN pundit Sebastian Salazar has told : “From an Inter Miami perspective, when you start doing the calculations on is this a guy you bring, he’s such a big name and marketing is such a priority in MLS that maybe you can overlook this [injury record] anyway.
“But look what Al-Hilal put into this project – $80m to $100m in salary, a jet, a house, this and that, and it’s been a disaster for them. He’s hardly played, and if you’re Inter Miami, you want to avoid a disaster. It’s a risk, but if he can find fitness and play like he did before and reunite him with Suarez and Messi, you have an incredible marketing tool and maybe something that looks good on the field as well.”
