Hamdy Nouh, manager of Egyptian club El Mokawloon – Mohamed Elneny’s former club – has stated that he believes that the Arsenal midfielder must leave the north London outfit for the sake of his career, as reported by the Evening Standard.
The 69-cap Egypt midfielder has been something of an outcast at the Emirates Stadium this season. Unai Emery has handed the 26-year-old only one Premier League outing so far this season and doesn’t appear to trust the midfielder at all.
Playmaker FC believes Arsenal fans won’t have to wait long to see Unai Emery’s long-term ambitions for the club come to fruition. Watch the video below to find out why…
The loss of regular game time at Arsenal is bad news for Elneny’s career. He needs to get back to playing plenty of football as soon as possible. For his sake, a January exit from the Emirates makes sense, but such a move could leave the Gunners very light on numbers in the middle of the park.
Unless Emery is planning on bringing in plenty of new faces in the winter window, Arsenal cannot afford to lose Elneny in January.
What do you think, Arsenal fans, should Elneny be let go in January?
