Wrexham's official Instagram account poked fun at Hollywood star Hugh Jackman after Norwich City fans unfurled a tifo of the Wolverine actor as a result of him previously admitting he is a fan of the Canaries. Following the Welsh team's 3-2 win at Carrow Road in the Championship on Saturday, the Red Dragons have gently ribbed the Australian on social media.
Jackman a fan of Norwich and not Wrexham?
Prior to Wrexham's 3-2 win at Norwich, which saw Josh Windass score a decisive brace for the visitors, the Canaries faithful unveiled a Wolverine tifo because Jackman, who is most famous for playing that X-Men character, said back in 2011 that he was a "huge" fan of the Norfolk outfit. But the Aussie has also repeatedly watched Wrexham at Stok Cae Ras and is good friends with club co-owner Ryan Reynolds. In light of this, the Red Dragons' social media team couldn't resist teasing Jackman.

Alongside the Wolverine tifo and a photo of Jackson wearing a Wrexham cap, the club account wrote on Instagram: "Our badge suits you better, @thehughjackman."
Much-needed win for Wrexham
Wrexham topped the spending charts in the Championship this summer as they target a record fourth-straight promotion in as many years. Despite splashing the cash, Phil Parkinson's men were hovering above the relegation zone after five games of the season. But the win at Norwich lifts them to 15th in the table.

Wrexham are now preparing for four games in just under two weeks. The Welsh side host Reading in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday before entertaining Derby County on Saturday in the Championship. After that, they take on Leicester City and Birmingham City on September 30 and October 3, respectively, in the league.
