The federation began disciplinary proceedings against both Canada Soccer and Marsch regarding allegations that he “disregarded regulations applicable to suspended match officials and used offensive language toward CONCACAF match officials” during their Gold Cup win over Honduras on June 18.
Marsch was not on the touchline for that match, as he was serving the second game of his two-game suspension that rolled over from the Nations League in March.
Marsch downplayed the incident in his news conference ahead of their Matchday two contest against Curacao, an eventual 1-1 draw.

The fines relate to them “breaching security protocols for accredited delegation officials” and “failing to comply with anti-doping procedures by not providing the required representative for the halftime doping control draw" in the club's victory over Honduras.
