"Even on Wes worst day he is in better physical shape than those who call him overweight! You only wish you had his physicality. It’s time to let go of the Leeds drama and move on! I am proud of him not paying any attention to the negative comments out here."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
McKennie has been one of the most consistent players for the Bianconeri this season, playing in 17 matches in Serie A and contributing two assists. Most recently, he notched the game-winning assist against Frosinone, feeding Dusan Vlahovic in brilliant fashion and earning player-of-the-match honors. During his time at Leeds, he was brought in under Jesse Marsch, only for the American boss to be sacked within weeks. Thereafter, it was two more managers in four months and a doomed squad who seemingly accepted relegation was on the horizon.

Juve take on Roma on Saturday in a clash of Serie A heavyweights as the Bianconeri look to close-in on first-place Inter, who they trail by four points in the table. McKennie is expected to play an integral role as injuries in their midfield pile up, while USMNT teammate Tim Weah is also being touted for a starting role.
