Wrexham have made no secret of the fact that they would like to welcome Okonkwo back to North Wales after seeing him hit free agency, with Arsenal announcing on their that the promising goalkeeper forms part of a 22-man group that has been released – with Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares also on that list.
WHAT OKONKWO HAS SAID
Okonkwo has been giving little away when it comes to his future, telling when asked about his plans: “I haven’t looked too much into things at the moment. But I will, very soon. It is about looking at all my opportunities and seeing which is the best for me. I’ve loved it at Wrexham and they will stay in my heart forever. It’s more of a waiting game now and seeing what is the right move for myself.”
