Antony's agent hasn't ruled out the possibility of the winger being reintegrated at Old Trafford, despite falling out of favour and moving to Spain to finish the season with Real Betis. Junior Pedroso explained that a loan exit was the best course of action in the short-term but insists that "football is dynamic".

In just two La Liga appearances, Antony has already racked up more minutes than he did in the first half of the Premier League season. The Brazilian has also scored twice so far, including one in the Conference League play-off phase. It has been a much-needed reset.
WHAT ANTONY'S AGENT SAID
"Antony respects [Ruben] Amorim a lot, for sure. But we understood in January that his moment at the club was not good, so Manchester United also understood that leaving on loan was the best way for Antony to recover his best form," Pedroso told. "I believe that football is very dynamic. There are no long-term plans to be made. There may still be a few more chapters in his story with Manchester United, or there may not be. This will depend on many factors involving decisions by the club and him in the near future."

Antony's loan includes no option to buy and his Manchester United contract still has two more years to run until 2027. If he finishes the season strongly, it stands to reason that Amorim could consider using him in a new-look squad next season. Alternatively, witht he coach's system calling for versatile wing-backs rather than wide forwards, the club could look to cash in to reinvest in the transfer market.
